Did you know that health -υγεία- is the most important wish for the Greeks?
Did you know that when we say hi/bye, "γεια", we actually mean health? (So we
wish health to anyone we greet).
Did you also know that when we say bless you, "γείτσες", when someone sneezes, we mean 'little healths'?
Or when we say cheers, "στην υγειά μας" or "στην υγειά σας/σου" we mean to our health or to your health (plural/singular)?
